Notes when reading this document
By registering to participate in the Competition, contestants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the entire content of the Competition Rules, including all modifications and supplements (if any). These Rules, along with all modifications and supplements, are the sole legal basis and have binding value between the Organizing Committee and the contestants throughout the duration of the Competition.
1. Participation Conditions
1.1 Target Audience
- Being official employees or collaborators of VNG Group and any subsidiary, affiliated company of VNG Group ("Starter") currently working at Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City offices.
- Members of the Organizing Committee CANNOT participate in the competition.
- If a contestant/team provides any misleading information related to the competition, the contestant/team will be disqualified immediately.
- GreenNode reserves the right to verify participation eligibility and resolve any disputes at any time.
1.2. Quantity and Members of the Team
- Eligible target audiences can participate in the competition as an individual or in groups (teams).
- Each team has a maximum of three (03) members.
- Each team can include members from many different departments / companies.
- If there is a need for matchmaking to form a team, contestants/teams need to contact the BTC before 10/06/2026 for arrangement.
- An individual can only participate in ONE SINGLE team, 1 exam submission. In case an individual participates in 2 or more teams or 2 or more exam submissions, that contestant will be considered in violation and disqualified.
- At least 1 member of the team must attend the Training session on 10/06 (online or offline). Teams with no participants in the Training session will not be granted resources.
1.3. Registration
- Registration period: from the date the BTC announces until the end of 10/06/2026.
- Registration format: Follow the link sent by the BTC via electronic mail ("Email"), Microsoft Teams application ("Teams") or on the event page https://greennode.ai/events/greennode-claw-a-thon.
- Declaration: team name, expected theme, domain belonging to VNG Group or subsidiaries, affiliated companies of VNG Group, department names of all members.
- After successful registration, the team leader will receive a welcome email from the official email address of the BTC (info@greennode.vn), accompanied by an overview timeline. Particularly, the link to documents and support channels will be provided on the Training day 10/06/2026.

4. Allocated Resources and Competition Accounts
On 10/06/2026 ("Training Day"), the BTC will allocate competition resources via email to teams that have completed valid registration. Allocated resources include:
- Computational account;
- MaaS API tokens (Gemma, Qwen);
- POC Wallet 10,000,000 VND;
- Sample guide documentation set.
These resources are only permitted to be used within the scope and for the purpose of the competition. All behaviors of profiting, intruding, or misusing are strictly prohibited (e.g., scanning API keys to brute-force, running workloads outside the scope of the contest, leaking or sharing tokens with outsiders). If any team is found misusing, the BTC reserves the right to immediately disqualify that team, and at the same time revoke the account, stop system activation (turn off billing) and deduct all remaining credits of the account to 0. If any team detects a security vulnerability, please report it immediately to the technical department (contact: KimNH) to coordinate handling.
- Account: Each validly registered competition team will be granted 01 (one) shared account by the BTC to access the AgentBase platform. This account is directly initiated by the BTC according to the specific identification email system of the competition (not using contestants' personal emails or company emails) and has been pre-authorized for access to the system. The account has 3 OpenClaw instances (2 vCPU / 4GB RAM per instance) and 2 pre-opened self-hosted models: gemma-4-31b-it and Qwen-3-27B. BTC sends credentials via email to the team leader on the Training day 10/06/2026; the team MUST change the password immediately after receiving the account to avoid cases of being lost or interfered with unexpectedly, BTC is not responsible if teams do not change passwords after receiving accounts.
- MaaS API tokens for models: Gemma, Qwen (and supplements can be added during the contest, to be notified separately).
- POC Wallet 10,000,000 VND/team: prepaid credit used for all GreenNode services (compute, MaaS token, AgentBase infrastructure...) throughout the competition. The wallet automatically expires immediately after the competition ends (06/07/2026).
- Sample template set: Link to AgentBase dashboard, user manual, and skill reference documentation; Link to sample agent repo including README template, use case template, quickstart guide, and demo video.
When downloading the sample document set of the Claw-a-thon 2026 Competition, you agree to the following terms:
- Comply with GreenNode's Terms of Service at https://vngcloud.vn/vi/terms-and-conditions
- Only use data for the purpose of participating in the competition, non-commercial research, and education. Please cite "Claw-a-thon 2026" when using the dataset.
- Do not redistribute the dataset.
- GreenNode is not responsible for or guarantees the accuracy, ownership, or usability of data for a specific purpose.
- GreenNode reserves the right to remove any contestant/team that uses data for wrong purposes or exceeds the permitted scope. Contestants/teams are fully responsible for the use of data and shall compensate, protect GreenNode (including employees, officers, agents) against all claims arising from the use of data, including copying and unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.
5. SUBMISSION FORMAT AND DEADLINE
Submission format: Each team is only permitted to submit their work once (1) under the information (name/email) of one representative member. The link to the Submission Form will be updated by the BTC before the Training Day (10/06/2026) with both Vietnamese and English versions; exam submissions can be submitted in Vietnamese or English. Teams have the right to freely edit submitted content on the Form until the final deadline without affecting the exam entry assessment results of the team.
Submission deadline: The final deadline for teams to complete the Submission Form is 12:00 on 17/06/2026 (The system will close and stop receiving responses right after this milestone).
5.1. Required Fields of the Form

5.2. Submission Deadline and Grading
- Submission deadline: The system will close the submission form at 12:00 on 17/06/2026. After this milestone, teams CANNOT arbitrarily edit submission content. BTC will conduct the assessment of the submission based on the exact state of the repo recorded at the time the form closes.
- Apart from the aforementioned appeal/supplement mechanism, any commit / deploy / change to AgentBase after 12:00 on 17/06/2026 (for projects that PASSED) will not be counted or assessed by the BTC.
- Since the Submission Form is closed manually by the BTC, in case a competition team faces technical errors from the platform side during submission, the team needs to report immediately to the BTC via Teams or via the official support channel of GreenNode BEFORE 12:00 on 17/06/2026. All complaints about technical errors are only counted as valid if sent to the BTC before 12:00 on 17/06/2026. For clarity, GreenNode is not responsible for any technical incidents, including network errors, connection interruptions, transmission errors, software/hardware damages, or errors caused by the Internet system affecting the submission.
6. Pass / Fail Criteria
The assessment round takes place from 13:00-17:00 on 17/06/2026, executed by the BTC. Preliminary pass/fail results will be sent to the teams on the same day, 17/06/2026.
To be graded PASS and enter the voting round, the submission must SIMULTANEOUSLY satisfy the following 3 conditions:

If the submitted exam entry does not meet ANY criteria, that exam entry will be considered as FAILED in the assessment round. Teams with FAILED exam entries will receive an email notifying the reason on the same day, 17/06/2026. For exam entries evaluated as FAILED by the BTC in the assessment round, the competition team will have the right to APPEAL OR SUPPLEMENT CONTENT ONE (01) SINGLE TIME. The time to receive supplements takes place within 02 days, from 18/06 to the end of 19/06/2026 via official communication channels of the BTC. The final pass/fail results will be officially announced on the voting page on 22/06/2026.
7. Voting Mechanism
7.1. Time
Voting period: From 22/06/2026 (after the BTC announces the list of eligible exam entries) to exactly 11:00 on 03/07/2026 (cut-off at the Award Ceremony). Accordingly, teams will have 1 final voting session taking place from 09:15-11:00 on 03/07/2026 at the Award Ceremony.
7.2. Who Can Vote
- All Starters belonging to VNG Group and subsidiaries, affiliated companies of VNG Group (including contestants).
- Each Starter can vote for a maximum of 3 different exam entries but CANNOT vote for their own team.
- Voting format: Vote via the voting page (according to the form requiring verification via company email) or QR codes at the office. One email account is only allowed to vote 1 single time. In case an employee has multiple emails belonging to VNG Group, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies of VNG Group, the BTC will review and only accept the first valid vote.
7.3. Determination of Results
- BTC will count votes to determine the number of valid votes right before the announcement (11:00-11:45 on 03/07). Invalid votes (duplicate votes, voting for one's own team, emails not belonging to VNG Group, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies of VNG Group will be disqualified from the vote counting results.
- In case the number of votes among teams is equal, the BTC will consider according to the order of priority: earlier submission time.
- If the winning team is disqualified or rejects the prize, the team with the next highest score will be chosen as a replacement.
8. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to contestants/competition teams with the highest scores (top 5) and in compliance with the rules of the competition.

The cash reward of the prizes will be distributed directly at the Award Ceremony on 03/07/2026 via bank transfer to the team leader within 14 days from 03/07/2026 (the prize money has not deducted types of taxes according to Vietnamese legal regulations) for the winning team. All types of taxes and tax payment obligations related to the prize are the full responsibility of the winning team.
The AI service POC credit reward will be granted in the form of vouchers/credit codes to the actual account in use (provided by the winning team) within 14 days from 03/07/2026.
Members within the team agree on the division of rewards among themselves.
9. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property (IP) Rights
9.1 Confidentiality
- Apply appropriate confidentiality measures according to regulations of VNG Group and GreenNode during the process of using allocated resources to prevent Starters who are not participating and have not officially agreed to these Rules from accessing competition data (Competition Data).
- Do not transmit, copy, publish, redistribute, or provide competition data to any third party not participating in the competition.
- If Contestants/Competition Teams detect behaviors of unauthorized access or transmission of competition data, Contestants/Competition Teams must immediately notify the BTC and coordinate handling and remediation.
9.2 Intellectual Property Rights
- Contestants/Competition Teams understand and agree that any product participating in the Claw-a-thon 2026 competition (hereinafter referred to as "Contest Product") is a work created by contestants/competition teams through using resources, technical-material facilities of GreenNode, including but not limited to OpenClaw accounts, 10M VND POC wallets, AgentBase infrastructure, MaaS tokens. Therefore, by registering to participate and agreeing to the Competition Rules, each contestant/competition team unconditionally and irrevocably agrees that GreenNode will be the sole owner of the entire intellectual property rights in and to any Contest Product formed from the milestone contestants/competition teams participate in the competition, regardless of whether that Contest Product has or has not been submitted to GreenNode, including but not limited to: source code, ideas, designs, solutions, models, data, prompts, agents, documents, texts, images, videos, content. Accordingly, GreenNode will have full rights in using and commercially exploiting the Contest Product, including but not limited to the right to republish, modify, edit, publish, communicate to the public, commercialize, develop derivative works or transfer to a third party a part or the whole of the Contest Product without needing to have further approval of contestants/competition teams and without having to pay any additional costs outside the announced prizes (if any).
- GreenNode recognizes and respects personal rights of contestants/competition teams as authors of the Contest Product according to regulations of intellectual property law.
- When using or publishing the Contest Product, GreenNode will publish names, images, relevant personal information of contestants/competition teams (as authors) in a manner appropriate to GreenNode's purpose of usage.
Contestants/competition teams commit:
- (i) The Contest Product only uses public data, synthetic data, or data that has been anonymized. DO NOT use actual customer data, PII (Personally Identifiable Information), internal data belonging to the confidential/restricted group.
- (ii) The Contest Product is the result of independent creation of the contestants/competition teams themselves, not copied, not violating intellectual property rights or any legal rights of any other third party.
- (iii) Contestants/competition teams are solely responsible before the law for all disputes (if any) related to ownership, including intellectual property rights regarding the Contest Product. In case a dispute occurs or there is a claim from a third party, GreenNode reserves the right to cancel results, revoke prizes and Contestants must compensate for the entire actual damage arising to GreenNode.
10. Personal Data Protection
- By registering to participate in the Competition, Contestants/Competition Teams agree to let GreenNode collect and process personal data according to legal regulations on Personal Data Protection.
- Purpose of processing:
- Verify identity, establish contestant profiles, communicate, notify schedules, grade exams and review prize distribution.
- Communication, promotion of the Competition (no fee).
- Tax declaration, reporting to competent State management agencies when requested.
- Processing time: From registration until completion of the competition and communication/storage obligations as prescribed by law.
- Contestants have full rights (access, edit, delete data, withdraw consent) by sending requests to GreenNode's email: info@greennode.vn
11. Ethics & Conduct
11.1. Content Policy
Contestants/competition teams commit and ensure that their Contest Product will not aim to generate, design any agent capable of proposing, suggesting, creating results containing any content:
- (a) Slandering, insulting honor, prestige, dignity of others;
- (b) Discriminating based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
- (c) Infringing intellectual property rights of GreenNode or any third party;
- (d) Impersonating any person or misrepresenting the identity of any person's relationship compared to another person;
- (e) Containing inappropriate or offensive or objectionable content or materials to any other individual, organization (such as pornographic, violent, inciting violence, exploiting or abusing content);
- (f) Deceiving or being capable of deceiving any party;
- (g) Violating any legal obligation toward a third party (such as contractual obligation or confidentiality obligation);
- (h) Promoting, propagating illegal activities;
- (i) Threatening, abusing, or invading others' privacy or causing discomfort, inconvenience, or unnecessary anxiety;
- (j) Creating the impression that something originates from or is approved or endorsed by GreenNode contrary to reality; or
- (k) Advocating, promoting, or supporting any unlawful action.
Every agent must clearly declare to end users that end users are interacting with artificial intelligence (AI). Impersonating or causing confusion as a real person is strictly prohibited.
11.2. Fair Play
Prohibit all behaviors of organizing unfair vote solicitation campaigns (threatening / forcing / exchanging internal votes).
Initiating fake accounts (clones) to self-vote for one's own team is also considered a violation. The BTC reserves the right to check system logs (audit logs) and disqualify teams with any behavior showing signs of vote fraud.
Prohibit copying products/agents of other teams. Referencing sample templates and open source code is encouraged, but must acknowledge sources clearly and fully.
11.3. Consequences of Violations
- Level 1 - Reminder: BTC sends a warning via the contestants' Teams group and team email. For example: README missing attribution.
- Level 2 - Submission Disqualification: violating the rules, abusing infrastructure, or 2 times Level 1.
- Level 3 - Account Revocation: severe vote fraud, leaking internal data or harassment behavior. BTC sends an email notifying the reason to all members of the violating team.
12. Right to Cancel, Modify or Remove
- If the competition is affected by viruses, fraud, unauthorized intervention, or other technical incidents making it impossible to operate normally, GreenNode reserves the right to cancel, stop, modify, or temporarily suspend the competition.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to temporarily suspend, suspend, or cancel results of any contestant/competition team if discovering fraudulent behaviors, rule violations, usage of unpermitted tools, or causing negative impacts on the fairness and prestige of the Competition. Behaviors of intentionally sabotaging the Website or fraud can be handled criminally and civilly according to Vietnamese law.
13. Jurisdiction of the Organizing Committee, Arbitration Board
Organizing Committee
GreenNode is the sponsor and organizing unit of the competition. The Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as "BTC") is the legal representative of GreenNode, responsible for full management and operation of the competition.
The organizer has full rights to review, adjust, supplement or change the Competition Rules, prompt contents, competition format, execution time and prize structure in necessary cases, aiming to ensure alignment with actual conditions.
The BTC is authorized to issue decisions that take immediate enforcement effect regarding matters arising related to organizing, grading, prize assessment, awarding and initial complaint resolution. If contestants/competition teams do not agree with the BTC's decision on competition results or matters outside the BTC's handling jurisdiction, contestants/competition teams have the right to file complaints to the Arbitration Board according to the exact deadline and regulated process.
Arbitration Board
In case of DISPUTES regarding the final results of the competition or matters outside the BTC's handling jurisdiction, the Arbitration Board will be the independent body to issue the final decision. Composition of the Arbitration Board:

All complaints related to competition results must be sent in writing via email to the address: info@greennode.vn – content includes: team name, description of the dispute, accompanying evidence within 24 hours from the milestone the BTC announces results. The Arbitration Board reserves the right to refuse to handle complaints sent after the aforementioned deadline or without accompanying valid evidence. The Arbitration Board will meet to consider and officially respond within 48 hours of receiving the complaint. The decision of the Arbitration Board is the final decision and has mandatory enforcement effect on all related parties.

Outside office hours, the BTC will try to respond as soon as possible but does not guarantee the 4h SLA. Please ask early instead of leaving it until the deadline.
15. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Can I go solo?
A: Yes. A 1-person team is completely valid; as long as they attend the Training on 10/06 and submit all required fields.
Q: Can my team have 4 people?
A: No. Maximum limit is 3 people. If there are 4 people, please split into 2 separate teams or remove 1 member BEFORE the registration deadline.
Q: Is it possible to change categories after registering?
A: Yes, before the submission deadline on 17/06 at 12:00. Re-declaring the category in the Submission Form is sufficient.
Q: What if I cannot attend the training?
A: At least 1 other member in the team must attend the Training on 10/06 (online or offline).
Q: Am I allowed to use models outside of MaaS (OpenAI, Anthropic)?
A: Prioritizing MaaS is encouraged as it reflects the spirit of the contest, but it is NOT prohibited. If using external models, the team bears the costs themselves and must declare it clearly in the README.
Q: Can I vote for my own team?
A: No. Voting for one's own team will be disqualified from the ballot counting results; repeating it multiple times can be considered fraud (Level 2).
Q: What if my demo video is 4 minutes long?
A: The BTC will watch the full first 3 minutes. Exceeding 3 minutes will not lead to disqualification, but the exceeding part will not be assessed.
Q: Can the BTC submit entries?
A: Members of the BTC CANNOT submit entries as contestants to avoid conflicts of interest.
16. Other Terms
- Any modification or supplement regarding the Competition Rules to ensure alignment with actual conditions and GreenNode's regulations will be officially announced by the BTC via email and contestants' Teams Group at least 24h before application. When there is a difference/contradiction between the announcement content and these Rules, the modified contents according to the latest announcement will take application effect.
- Contestants/Competition Teams agree to accept competition results and complaint resolution judgments according to the exact process in these Regulations as a mandatory condition when participating.
- This document, when there are differences between Vietnamese and unofficial translations, the Vietnamese version is the valid version.
- By registering and submitting entries, contestants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the entire content of these Rules.
- Support channel: Link to Microsoft Teams group dedicated to contestants; all team members are encouraged to join to receive the latest information from the BTC.
